Truck owners Sam and JJ have been friends since high school, but bacon lovers since birth. After finishing college, they got to talking and hatched a plan to open a food truck here in Boston. But they didn't want just any old food truck, they wanted to create a truck with a menu focused on the single greatest food known to man: bacon. Before they got The Bacon Truck going, the two spent 2 years working on different food trucks around Boston, learning the ropes from some of the best in the biz. Now with the bacon truck on the street, Sam and JJ aim to bring bacon to those in need - to provide the swine for a city in the grips of an expanding health food craze.

Sam and JJ are fighting for the rights of those who choose to enjoy bacon in all of its glorious forms. They hold these truths to be self-evident, that all foods are not created equal, that bacon is superior. They believe that the people are endowed with certain inalienable Rights: Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Bacon. Recently bacon has been vilified and shunned in favor of foods such as quinoa, kale, granola ... OK now we're rambling. You get the point. Don't just sit there and read about The Bacon Truck. Come on over, meet the friendly guys behind the window, and sink your teeth into something delicious.

So where do we get our bacon from?

The Bacon Truck proudly serves Blackstone St. Smokehouse's thick-cut, applewood smoked bacon. Prepared and smoked right here in South Boston, it's the best bacon around. Next spring we'll be selling it by the pound at our truck for you to take home and cook yourself!
